How to clean restrooms
Restrooms in any building cover about 5% of total floor space, but the condition of those restrooms results in more than 50% of cleanliness complaints.
The systematic cleaning of restrooms should be an efficient process that leaves restrooms in a sanitary condition free of odors. Scheduled checks of restroom cleanliness and touch up cleaning where necessary is an important part maintaining sanitary conditions.

If possible, restrict access to the restroom while it is being cleaned. Always post wet floor signs at entrances and in the restroom.

Now, start cleaning with a top to bottom approach.
Dust ceiling surfaces, light fixtures and other hard to reach surfaces then move to lower fixtures.
Fill towel, toilet paper and soap dispensers.
Clean mirrors, and the exterior of dispensers.
Clean and wipe countertops baby changing tables, sinks, and chrome fixtures. Spot Clean walls and partitions as needed and disinfectant stall door handles.
Now back to the toilets and Urinals: Apply disinfectant to exterior toilet and urinal surfaces, including the seat, tank, fixtures and bowl, then wipe make sure to leave surfaces visibly moist and allow to air dry.
Swab toilet bowls to remove any visible debris. Flush toilets/urinals. Replenish urinal cakes and screens as necessary.
If the restroom has doors, be sure to clean and disinfect door handles.
Sweep the floor, and then mop with a cleaning solution.
