British Columbia Premier David Eby holds a news conference in Victoria to announce the introduction of the provincial government’s new housing action plan, Homes for People, an attempt to ease the ongoing housing crisis. The action plan aims to deliver more affordable homes quickly to those in most urgent need while at the same time cracking down on speculative market practices. The premier is joined by provincial Housing Minister Ravi Kahlon, Marianne Alto (mayor of Victoria) Luke Mari (Aryze Development) and Bridget Ryan (Victoria resident).
